Every Yid is called a Yehudi. The shoresh of Hodaa is "Vav Daled". The letter Yud is spelled יוד as in the word אך צדיקים יודו לשמך. But in another place it says יודוך עמים כולם. How can the goyim have this bechina of Yidden? Perhaps this is talking about when Moshiach comes, where it says that Hashem will give the Jews a new name that only He knows, and perhaps at that time, the righteous goyim will then have the name Jews. As the Baal Hasulam says, that when Moshiach comes, the goyim will start from where we started, and also have a chance for ultimate tikkun.
The letter Yud is but a dot. It has nothing of its own. Yet, it is one - like Hashem is ONE.
שמע ישראל ה' אלוקינו ה' אחד
מי כעמך ישראל גוי אחד בארץ
That is why were are called Jews, Yudin (Juden).
The letters of the Alef Beis all start as Yud and then are mispashet into different forms, like Hashem is a dot of infinity - which was mispashet through the ten sefiros into all the different midos and hanhagos that He uses in the briyah. But He Himself is like a dot, ONE, infinite and above and beyond any midos.
מלכים א יט יא
ויאמר צא ועמדת בהר לפני יהוה והנה יהוה עבר ורוח גדולה וחזק מפרק הרים ומשבר סלעים לפני יהוה לא ברוח יהוה ואחר הרוח רעש לא ברעש יהוה. ואחר הרעש אש לא באש יהוה ואחר האש קול דממה דקה
Perhaps this Pasuk can be broken down as in the chart below, keneged the 10 sefiros (דקה is 109 1+9 = 10 which is malchus). Because where Hashem is found, there are no midos or sefiros, only a dot - דקה. Like the Yud of the Jew, who is Malchus.
